New Slaves for the New Global Economy Part 12: JESUS VS CHRISTMAS
New Slaves for the New Global Economy
Part 12: JESUS VS CHRISTMAS
Beware fellow Automatons!
Christmas is here and you have been programed to spend; to bailout
the industries that count on making ¼ of their annual profits in the name
of Jesus. In return, you’ll gain the opportunity to bare the Christian cross
and crown of thorns: Credit Card Debt in the name of Jesus Christ (J.C.)
while losing the essence of the day. J.C. is not only a symbol that points to
eternal life, but an opportunity to be a citizen of UTOPIA – HEAVEN ON EARTH! And
note! One way or the other, we are moving toward a one world order: An order stating
trust government, not God – instilled by force and not by faith filled choice.
J.C. is a precious gift
offered not just to reconcile our relationship back with God but with our
neighbors as well. Yet the economics of Christmas has become the
important thing to consider. It’s a high-volume selling season full of purchasing
cards, gifts, decorations, cloths and all sorts of supplies. The buying surge even
offers seasonal employment opportunities to meet consumption demands. 2024
expects $960 billion in U.S. spending, with African Americans and
Hispanics toppling the list (Howard University), with a dramatic increase in
cyber sales and deals which was dramatically threatened by the Long Shormans
strike. Point! Christmas is the largest economic stimulus around the world!
Yet is it the birth of J.C. or the gift giving nature of St Nick (who climbed
down chimneys to put gold coins in the socks of the poor) that is being
celebrated? But is it the birth or the life of the man who said “what
you’ve seen me do you can also because I go to the FATHER on your behalf” that
we should remember and embrace?
Across the span of space and
time, J.C. has marveled Historians, Philosophers and World Leaders to the point
of impacting human rights, education, science, and the individual endeavors of
great poets, artists, composers and heroes like Martin Luther King and Mother
Teresa. The Hindu Gandhi had much to say about J.C. and applied such things as
the sermon on the mount to his own thoughts. And even if Muhammad is regarded
most influential, even Muslims revere Jesus the great prophet. Some have gone
as far as saying J.C. wasn’t crucified but assassinated for his threat to
the religious, political, and economic circumstances of his time. Yet all
the while, according to the Gallup Poles, Christianity in the U.S. is on a steady decline: Church attendance has
dropped across all Christian groups. So go ahead, eat, drink, and merrily
exchange gifts among each other. But remember, the wisemen brought gifts to
Jesus. What gifts are you bringing to his alter where mercy and grace await us
all.
If the birth of Christ need be
celebrated, let it be for his birth in us - Daily! It’s about Christ - Not
Xmas (an effort between emperor Constantine and the church to combat the
celebrated birth of the pagan Gods)! J.C. is the flame of God that dwells in
the spirit of man – the breath of life that visited us in bodily form and
action to show us the truth, light, and way to a better life. Fellow Automatons
do remember: Believers and followers of J.C. are in the world but not of it.
So render to Ceasar what belongs to Ceaser and to God what belongs to God!
A Prophesy Fulfilled
There they stood, the blind that saw
The deaf that heard
And the crippled legs that walked
Where others could but would not dare
To brave.
Where mind to press beyond confines
Where heart to burden all to feel
Where soul to fly unfathomed heights …
Have not’s among the haves
That cling to things
That bind and chain their soul
Beneath life’s ever passing waves
Beneath the sands of time
Beneath what man was meant
To reach, to teach, to keep … A Prophesy Alive
No need to wonder why
So many in divide, survive
So many in divide, find compromise
So many in divide, must die
By misguided swords and shields
That yield the devastating blows
On those that would not bend or rend
Their choice to fight the economic race
That beckons them to chase each others lives
To take and take and take until erased
Alternatives that could in-deed
Bring every act beyond the creed of greed.
Where to agree would bring
The sound of Peace and Love to all
Were tossed aside – the FEAR
Were tossed aside – the HATE
Were tossed aside – the SHAME
That fans the flames of anger and despair,
That comes to simply disagree.
And yet there they stood - There they stand
The blind that saw
The deaf that heard
And the crippled legs that walked
Where others could but would not dare
To brave - to sacrifice it all to be
What man was meant to reach, to teach, to keep
A Prophesy Fulfilled
