Immigration 4: The Donald Dash from Immigrants to Emigrants
The Donald Dash
from Immigrants to Emigrants
While it continues to get harder
to determine whether the ICE focus was ever about brown, illegals, and
criminals or something more sinister (e.g. blanket federal citizen policing undermining
state jurisdiction); whether it’s about migrants, immigrants, or profit (e.g. $45+
billion in contracts offered to large private organizations as CoreCivic and the GEO Group collecting a
daily $165 per detainee). For sure, while the atmosphere of uncertainty
continues to spread feelings of suspicion, fear and despair; powder kegs of anger
and hate are being lit across the country. For sure, families are being torn
apart as Mama’s and Papa’s continue getting put on ICE in undisclosed places
without due process or adequate provisions. Meanwhile, for sure, there’s a new
exodus underway as not seen since 1935 where approximately 100,000 Americans
migrated to work in Russia during the Great Depression.
Although now dubbed “The
Donald Dash,” the 2025 election was a catalyst, but claiming it to be
the cause is an undermining and misleading mistake: Ignoring the facts is
genius going insane! There’s a Tsunami wave of both “Unwilling Immigrants”
and “Desperate Emigrants” presently being surfed. But where there is
blood being spilled, there are hungry sharks lurking in the water. Migrants
(illegal or not) are but sweet tasting seal appetizers when the main course of
seasoned whales are already baking in the oven. The question is; who are the
seals, who are the whales, who are the cooks (or crooks) preparing the table
for the banquet feast, and who are the sharks to have their (fair or unfair)
share? But wait, before lifting the fork and knife to the present seafood
delight, expedient media moguls (or mongrels) are already efficiently shifting the
menu and selling tickets to a forthcoming turkey shootout: Venezuelan oil,
Central American fisheries, and along with resolving the age long vendetta,
Cuba securing the Atlantic/Pacific trade route between it and Puerto Rico. Say
good-bye to the ideals of the Magna Carta (asserting no one is above the law)
and hello to the Monroe Doctrine (proclaiming individual rights to Manifest
Destiny)!
Thus, resulting from
consequential social, cultural, political, and economic fatigue; Individuals are
looking at the writing on the wall and exchanging the “American MAGA” nightmare
for safer, more stable and affordable opportunities abroad (e.g. Mexico, Spain,
Portugal, Germany, Thailand). And the numbers are staggering!
First is the where! Before the
coming pile of cow pie really hits the swirling Donald Dash fan at the OK CORRAL,
not only are 42% U.S. citizens considering getting out of DODGE, but like
capitalism being true to its nature, there are “how to” and “best way” websites
popping up all over the internet (e.g. https://getwherenext.com/blog/why-americans-are-leaving-the-us-in-record-numbers
) Second, and perhaps more important, is the who and why! Presently dubbed as
“Gen Z,” America’s next generation (ages 18- 30, void of civil/civic duty but
quickly indoctrinated to the game of capital gain and the immediate
gratifications of hedonism) are becoming savvy and fully equipped (e.g. speedy internet
access, remote employment, and hacking opportunities with A.I. support) to live
anywhere offering visa’s free of six-figures, a monthly expense ranging from $15-2,500,
transient English translating employment, affordable housing, and a nightlife
that doesn’t require more than $80,00. Before
getting kicked out, take the online personalized
country quiz, browse all 95
countries in the available database and check your passport’s visa-free access already
open to you without any paperwork at all.
As for what’s on the dinner plate and who’s invited to sit at the table? As far as the GOP- MAGA outcry is concerned, consider: The seals are the dying unionized working middle class, the whales are the incoming players able to afford the poker game of the fittest survivors, the cooks are the automatons trained to obey and serve while the sharks are but mere opportunistic bottom feeders cleaning up the mess. Make no mistake, this is no longer a racial/cultural issue. It’s a global economic war where America’s dollar strangle hold via petroleum is losing ground and desperately trying to position itself in a potentially East West confrontation regarding available resources over-riding the cost of human casualties.
