Humanities Map, Legend, And Compass
We’ve all heard of the light! That enlightening knowledge and understanding of how God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit will converge to give humanity a second shot at a life full of harmonious coexistence free of growing pain and suffering. But the uncertainties of daily life have given rise to a fear of lacking tomorrows wants in ways that justify an unprecedented need for hording greed. Under such external pressures, it’s time to question: How much of that light (e.g. peace, love, and joy) is actually still in you?
Darkness is quickly spreading a blanket of worldwide despair; humanities intended fruits (e.g. kindness, goodness, gentleness, forbearance and self-control) are becoming but mere shadows as we walk along the corridors between “Once Upon a Time” and “It Is what It Is.” Thus question: How deep is the darkness within you?
Seemingly overwhelmed, we fail to grasp the simplicity of common sense. Were we to just consider it all a matter of personal perspective and relevance! Were we to pause, reflect, and yes ponder it all long enough to realize it’s a matter of choice; then, the “I Am” greater from within than the surrounding world would flourish to voice: The Truth, The Way, The Light of Life! Easy? Not at all! Life is a journey needing you to traverse a wilderness full of unknown elements. And face it! Only a fool would venture such a task without a map, a legend and compass. So, ask: What is humanities map, legend, and compass?
Getting beyond the semantics that keeps us in perpetual stagnation, God (whatever you perceive that to mean as able to take you beyond yourself) is a wise and available map to consider. Likewise, Jesus is a worthwhile legend to understand the many outlined objects you’ll have to face. And the Holy Spirit is a darn good compass investment to keep you on track. This reality can be hard for many to comprehend and accept. But for each of us trying to escape the confusing dark, God can be an incorruptible pure light of radiant love free of deceit and hidden agendas. Embracing such a thought of hope can drive out fear and invite a deeper relationship with Him (creator, universe, whatever), ourselves (regardless of intellect or status quo), and fellow beings (irrelevant of color, race or creed). It’s an evolving journey not an end! It’s a reaching for sincerity not perfection! And in a world where all tend to seek a role model to inspire and emulate, why not Jesus, who while walking among us did not regard himself God but rather offered himself to be an exemplary brother and companion for learning to love our neighbors as ourselves. What he said, what he did is not rocket science. It’s just about choosing and learning to BECOME MORE!
